Holiday In Dixie: The carnival opens at Shreveport’s Festival Plaza at 5:00pm today.
For a full 10 days, downtown Shreveport will celebrate the 66th annual Holiday in Dixie with a carnival, a treasure hunt, great food and music and loads of other activities. This year’s activities begin today and continue through April 20. (more)

ABA Finals: Our Shreveport Bossier Mavericks are undefeated going into the finals. American Basketball Association Championship Finals April 10-15, 2014. Event starts with Playoffs between Seeds 3-8 on April 10-11, continue with the Final Four on Saturday, April 12th moving on into the National Championship games April 13th - 15th with the best two of three.
