For over a year, Assumption Parish about 30 miles south of Baton Rouge has been dealing with a massive sinkhole that's grown from one acre in size to about 25 acres. Officials have been watching the sink hole for more than a year and got an eye full Wednesday and someone happened to be filming it when it devoured several large TREES in about 30 seconds. The sinkhole apparently formed when an old mine collapsed. It's filled with water and estimated to be around 750 feet deep.
