A lot of people are loving Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's "The Rest of Our Life". Ed Sheeran and three other writers wrote the potential hit song and Tim and Faith have done the beautiful song justice. A group of Australian writers are claiming that Ed Sheeran and his co-writers clearly ripped the song from them. Sean Carey and Beau Golden filed a lawsuit in the New York federal court and are asking for $5 million dollars along for an injunction which would block the song "The Rest of Our Life". Carey and Golden claim their song "When I Found You" written in 2014 has been ripped off by Ed Sheeran and his co-writers Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, and Amy Wedge. Carey and Golden have hired Richard Busch to be their attourney. You have probably heard the name Richard Busch before, he is the same attorney who won $5.3 million dollars for Marvin Gaye's family when they claimed Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke had several similarities as the song "Got to Give It Up" and made "Blurred Lines" a hit.

This isn't the first time Ed Sheeran has been accused of ripping songs. Remember the big problems Ed Sheeran got into when he made "Photograph" a hit? No surprise that Richard Busch was behind that lawsuit as well. Good luck Ed Sheeran, Tim and Faith! Do you think this song was clearly ripped from the Australian writers? Tell us why in the comments below!
