The Let It Ride Tour with Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett and Eric Paslay rolls into the CenturyLink Center Saturday night at 7:30, and nobody's more excited about this one than Thomas Rhett.

The country star spent some time visiting with Gary and Julie this morning about the show, his recent night at the ACM Awards, his appearance on "The View" and the video of his current single "Get Me Some of That."

Rhett disclosed a lot of firsts in the interview when he told us that his wardrobe at Sunday night's ACM Awards show was the first time he'd ever worn a bow tie.

"That was all my wife," he said. "I'm not the one with the fashion sense."

Julie laughingly asked if it was a clip-on or if he actually tied it.

"Me and my wife stood in front of a mirror watching a Youtube video for about 30 minutes," quipped Rhett.

He also let us in on something that apparently none of us knew which happened during his last show here with Jason Aldean.

"In Bossier City at the CenturyLink, that was the first arena I ever played in my entire life," said Rhett. "Before I even had a record deal, I opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Topp acoustic for about 11 minutes when I was 19 years old."

Reflecting on that first appearance in Bossier City makes his return to the CenturyLink Center even more special. So, "Welcome Home," Thomas Rhett!
