According to the event page on Facebook, this year's Zombie Walk is specifically pet friendly. There will be local pet store sponsors, pet oriented vendors, pet charities, and contests along with the normal door prizes and costume contests for humans.

To enter in the Zombie Walk Costume Contest you will need to get registered at the "Mad Cow Masks" table before 6 pm. After you register you will get photographed which will be used for judging. Winners will be announced at 8 pm. You must be present to win. The costume rules for the event are as follows:

• All costumes must follow the swimsuit modesty rule and cover as much as a standard swimsuit. Body paint, pasties, or any other minimum coverage attire will be asked to leave.
• Shoes must be worn at all times.
• Props are welcome, but Props must be obviously fake. Orange-tipped Guns and Nerf/Costume Quality Blades. Anything thought to be too dangerous will be asked to be put back in your car.

What makes this year's zombie walk so special? It's the 10th anniversary of the event. That is pretty special. Celebrate with them on Saturday, October 20th.

They also mention that if you don't have a pet then you'll still enjoy the event. So dress up your zombie-best on Saturday, October 20th from 4 pm to 9 pm at Pierre Bossier Mall in Bossier City. To find out more information about the event or contest rules and guidelines click here.
