I love our Kiss Country radio listeners, but not enough for this. Not gonna do it!

There's not enough gold in Fort Knox for me to climb nearly 1,800 feet in the air up a radio or television transmitter tower.

You've seen our tower and some of the TV towers off the side of Highway 1 near Mooringsport right? Well, when something goes wrong with our tower, I'm out.

A light can go out, we can get struck by lightning -- any number of things can force a tower climb. I get dizzy on anything taller than a six-foot step ladder, so anytime you hear silence on the radio, listen closely and you'll probably hear me shouting on our company intercom: "Engineering. Hey, engineering!"

Our engineers do this so often that most of them have forgotten just how dangerous this really is. Take a look at this video and see if you agree that this is the most dangerous job in the world.

Oh, and thank you radio/television engineers. I'll handle the stuff on the ground if you can keep things fixed way up there.
