Tamera Lopez is one of those women that seems to squeeze everything into a day. She takes care of her kids, she's a wife, she works her own job, and yet, during the Christmas season, she managed to help a bunch of less fortunate kids in the Waskom area.

And it's because Tamera made helping others a priority at this time of year, that we're recognizing her as this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award recipient.

It was Tamera's friend (and admirer) Alisha Head who told us all about Tamera's "awesomeness."

Tamera Lopez is definitely deserving of your Caught in the Act Award. Tamera went over and beyond putting boxes out in our small town of Waskom to collect Christmas gifts for our local children. The family in need list grew throughout the time she was collecting gifts and she never complained. Then she took time out of her busy schedule being mom, wife and employee to pick the gifts up and deliver them to the families. Holiday season is so busy for everyone but she went over and beyond to make sure these children did not go without in Waskom and time out of her schedule to deliver to these children.

Tamera Lopez, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Tamera to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
