In Erma Bombeck's book "Motherhood; The Second Oldest Profession" we find that all mothers are really super human and well deserving of all our respect and admiration.

Once a woman has a child, in most cases she'll make certain changes to her attire.  In fact, in a recent survey reported by Female First, 78% of women say they actually made some big changes to their dress once they became mothers.

Here's one for every mom in Kiss Country. This poem is so funny and very true! It's especially funny for those of us who regularly read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" to our children. I never knew busy until I was a mom, I thought I did--but, turns out I am clueless. It's amazing the things I've learned to do with one hand. And I'm pretty sure it only gets crazier and busier.

Very few who’ve seen the controversial cover of this week’s issue of Time Magazine walk away without an opinion, and country star Sara Evans is no different. She is one of two female vocalists outraged by the photo, which shows a three-year-old boy standing on a chair and breastfeeding from his mother.

A Korean company is causing chaos with this proposed advertisement for Oreo cookies. The ad shows a breastfeeding child holding up an Oreo cookie with "milk's favorite cookie" written on the bottom of the screen. I actually thought it was quite funny when I heard the news...

Am I out of my mind for my sincere interest in cloth diapers? From everything I am reading, they really have come a long way from the burp cloth/wash cloth/diapers that were used by my mom. Cloth diapers even have snaps now to alleviate the misery of hoping you secured it enough to prevent imminent potty time disaster.
