The Miss America crown could be coming home to Louisiana next week.

Miss America is dropping swimsuits and evening gowns! Since the beginning Miss America has always judged the beautiful contestants on physical appearance. According to the organization they're stopping all of that.

MIss Louisiana, Laryssa Bonacquisti, out shines them all in MIss America swimsuit preliminary round.

An unexpected bond between Miss Louisiana and Carson has warmed the hearts of many.

Chelsi Hefner was the 2013 Miss Shreveport and will once again be competing in the Miss Louisiana Pageant in June.  Also next month, the Miss America/Miss Louisiana Organization will be holding a charity golf tournament at Southern Trace Country Club for the Children's Miracle Network.

This kid is paying the price for trying to go to the prom with a beauty queen instead of the homecoming queen.
