With our Sportsman's Expo coming up this weekend, you might have fish on the brain. Well, the show doesn't actually begin until 4pm Friday, so to prepare you for the weekend, you might check out what the Sheriff has to offer.  The Caddo Sheriff's Office will hold a fish fry from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the south substation, 9956 Mansfield Road, near Keithville.

About one in 27 Cajuns test positive for the gene, but the disease can only be passed on when both parents carry the gene, and even then, there is still only a slight chance the child will inherit the disease

You may remember Josh Lesniewski’s story from June 30, 2011, when he barely survived a fall from a 30 ft. ladder. Josh, who is only 30 years old, suffered a traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury, which left him paralyzed below the waist. Despite his own struggles Josh is determined to help others who have also been disabled by such tragic events.
