Sophia Bosarge is Recipient of This Week’s Caught in the Act Award

Sophia Bosarge is the perfect example of how someone can take the worst of all events, and turn them into something so positive, it's completely miraculous!

Sophia's husband, Bart, wrote to tell us of this angel with whom he gets to share his life, and not a soul in the building could read the letter without crying. As he nominated this incredible woman for the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, we couldn't help believe that God had truly placed an angel among us, and Sophia was her name. And she was obviously worthy of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

My wife, Sophia, has the most beautiful heart. She collects donated wedding dresses and transforms them into burial gowns, known as Angel Gowns, for babies that are stillborn or die shortly after birth. She donates these gowns to hospitals, funeral homes and individual families all over the world at no charge. She is a wife and mom and works full time as a Logistics and Safety Manager at a local trucking company. She does this in every bit of her spare time. She started doing this years ago after losing her own babies. She says this helped heal her heart. Many women reach out to her to donate a dress and they end up crying in her arms because they have lost a child too. Not only does she sew these tiny little gowns, she is also a friend and "ear" for those women who thought they couldn't speak of their babies before. She comforts them as only someone who has lost a chi ld can do. She has founded a nonprofit called Southern Grace Angelic Gowns and hosts monthly workshops, teaching volunteers to sew these little gowns. She even recruited me!!! I take all the wedding dresses apart when they come in and then she works her magic! She meets so many people and so many of the Angel Moms choose to stay in touch with her and they become lifelong friends. My wife is one in a million and she is teaching our 16 year old daughter the same values. She is the greatest blessing in my life and I am so proud to call her my wife!
