Shreveport’s Jessica Edwards Sings the National Anthem [VIDEO]

Every morning, Gary and I like to point out that day's national holidays and today just happens to be national National Anthem Day. If you listen to Kiss Country, then you know we're all about God and Country. That's why we have local school children recite the Pledge of Allegiance for us six days a week with our Kiss Class of the Day... But for some strange reason, Gary seems to think that I can sing. Trust me, my husband DOES NOT agree, especially when it comes to a song as technical as our anthem. That's when we put the call out... Someone, anyone, PLEASE call and sing the anthem for us... because this girl isn't going to disrespect the anthem like that!

That's how we got to meet Shreveport's own Jessica Edwards. She listens every morning on her hour long commute and she is truly gifted! Not only did Jessica sing one of the hardest songs to sing out there early in the morning, she did it via speaker phone, sitting down, pregnant... with TWINS! Hats off to you Jessica! You've proven once again, Kiss Country is chock full of talent!
