Shreveport Police Will Be Conducting An Upcoming Safety Checkpoint

As the Shreveport Police Department's Traffic Bureau says, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

The Shreveport Police will conduct a safety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in west Shreveport beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18 and run until 3:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19.

The checkpoint is a part of an effort between agencies in order make our city streets safe for all citizens. Funding for the checkpoint is provided by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission as a part of the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
