Shreveport Police Holding Checkpoints This Weekend

The Shreveport Police Department announced that Friday Night they will be setting up checkpoints in West Shreveport. The Checkpoint is part of the national movement “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”. Officers will be set up looking for drunk drivers starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, March 24 and run until 3 a.m. Saturday, March 25.

This is not just a DUI Checkpoint but a checkpoint looking for any kind of impaired driver or anyone causing a threat to other drivers in the Shreveport area. So please not only this Friday but any night you decide to have a night out remember if you drink Do Not Drive! Paying for a cab is so much cheaper than paying for a DUI and you won't be endangering the lives of innocent others.
