It's going to be a big day in Shreveport this Sunday. Former Green Oaks and LSU star Tre'Davious White and his Buffalo Bills will be hosting Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. Here's a quick overview of the game from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"This Sunday, New Orleans is at Buffalo. On defense, the Bills have forced 17 turnovers, which is the second best mark in the NFL. Former LSU cornerback Tre’Davious White has an interception and two fumble recoveries and is one of the game’s best rookies. New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton says he’s impressed by what he’s seen from White.

Offensive tackle Terron Armstead and safety Kenny Vaccaro were no-shows at practice again because of injuries."

After being selected by Buffalo in the First Round of the NFL Draft, White is in the mix for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He could make a big statement on that front with a big performance against the Saints Drew Brees.

But playing against Brees has to be a little surreal for White.

While Brees was making the playoffs and winning Super Bowls in New Orleans, White was playing high school football in the same state. In fact, White was playing quarterback in high school (though a little differently) while Drew Brees was racking up yards in the Superdome.

Now White will be trying to slow down the future-hall-of-fame quarterback, if not stopping him completely with a few interceptions. This could set up to be a day many in Louisiana, and especially Shreveport, won't want to ever forget.
