High School Football

NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition in Haughton

Anytime Fitness on Highway 80 in Haughton is holding an opening round of this competition this Saturday, September 22 at 9:30 a.m. at the Haughton High School football stadium. The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-15.

College Football

ULM hosts Baylor tonight in Monroe. See the game on ESPN at 6:00 PM

LSU and Auburn face off tomorrow at 6:00 PM, ESPN will broadcast from Auburn.

Black and White Ball with a Touch of Pink

A breast cancer fundraiser is happening Saturday night: Black Tie Affair Featuring Music by "Steve Wells Band" of Natchitoches, LA Dinner (catered by Bistro To Go) included and will be served at 7:00 PM. Dance 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

The lovely ladies of Bon Temps Burlesque will be dancing at Chicago Saturday night. We've seen this group in action and they are not only talented with awesome costumes--they represent the beauty of women of all shapes and sizes.

Shreveport Symphony Opening Night

Saturday night is opening night for SSO's 65th season. This season opens with world-renowned violin sensation Vadim Gluzman. "Brahms' familiar overture abounds with good humor and complements Dvořák's delightful Symphony No. 8, full of folk-like charm and positive energy".
