Issues with the roads is one of the biggest issues many people around the SBC are constantly complaining about and it looks like things are starting to move in the right direction! The Shreveport City Council has approved $5.35M to improve 25 streets around Shreveport which now is just needing the mayor's approval.

KSLA reports that the repairs are being done in districts with the majority of the road repairs going towards the downtown and highland areas. Also included in the road repair plans is Crockett Street, Flournoy Lucas Road and Fairfield and Southern avenues.

No start date has been issued but for the sake of our poor vehicles hopefully it'll be sooner than later!
