Fall is here and that means television networks are introducing their new lineup for your viewing pleasure. If you are looking for something new to add to your TV schedule, you may want to check out the shows listed on mentalfloss.com. The folks at a Mental Floss have done the research and compiled a list of TV's most popular shows by state.

According to their report, Louisiana most popular TV show is Queen Sugar. Queen Sugar is an hour long drama that airs each Wednesday at 9pm on the Oprah Winfrey Network, OWN. The show is set in the fictional town of Saint Josephine, Louisiana and revolves around the dynamics of the Bordelon siblings who run the family's sugarcane farm. Each episode offers a glimpse into life in south Louisiana and the strong southern family bond. The show was created by filmmaker Ava DuVernay of Selma of fame; DuVernay is also the executive producer. It appears that with the star power of DuVernay and Oprah this Louisiana show will be a hit for a long time to come.
