Sci-Port Presents “Star Party” on September 26

Sci-Port will be hosting a "Star Party" on Friday, September 26. It's the galaxy like you've never seen before!

Sci-Port is giving you a rare opportunity to see the stars up close and personal with their "Star Party" on Friday, September 26 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

You'll get to go onto the roof and take a look at the Andromeda Galaxy. At just over 2 million light years away, this galaxy is nearest to us. You can use Sci-Port's telescopes or bring your own.

Visitors will see Cygnus, Pegasus, Andromeda and Perseus. In addition, you'll catch a glimpse of Antares and Vega. Presentations will be available, as well as activities for the kids.

Tickets are just $3 for members and $5 for future members.
