Santa made it to town! Santa traded out his reindeer for a fleet of Shreveport Police Department vehicles along with the Shreveport Fire Departments big red truck. The fleet made their way to the Townsquare Media Offices in Shreveport. Several lucky students were able to greet Santa and they even toured Santa's workshop where they all received a thoughtful gift from Santa. Today was the kick-off for Operation Santa Claus. Operation Santa Claus is a combined humanitarian effort between the Shreveport Fire department, Shreveport Police departments, and Townsquare Media. The goal is to bring smiles to local underprivileged children through new toys for Christmas.
