Kids from local day care centers lined up for nearly an hour to wait for the arrival of the world's favorite elf!  Santa Claus arrived in a Shreveport Fire Department fire engine as he's done for the past 30 years to kick off Operation Santa Claus!  

Along with the Shreveport Police and Fire Departments and the Bossier Sheriff's Office, Kiss Country will take to the streets asking for a little help for local children here at Christmas.

If you've been blessed with a little extra this year and wouldn't mind helping a less fortunate child, or maybe a whole family, please bring your new, unwrapped toy to any branch of Citizen's Bank, Lifeshare Blood Center or at one of our Toy Drop Off live broadcasts:
