He stole America's hearts and minds on America's Got Talent, and has made a living on Sundays in the NFL...but now Jon Dorenbos' NFL future is in doubt.

The New Orleans Saints recently traded for Dorenbos, and while he was taking his physical for the Saints, a life-threatening condition was discovered. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"There’s been a stunning development with the Saints. 37-year-old long snapper Jon Dorenbos needs to have immediate open-heart surgery after he was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm. He was recently traded to the Saints from Philadelphia for a seventh round draft pick in 2019. Coach Sean Payton says a physical conducted by Dr. John Amoss saved Dorenbos’ life. New Orleans is bringing in long snappers today and expect to sign one before Monday night’s season opener against Minnesota."

It's likely that Dorenbos will be done with football moving forward, but with the attention he gained on America's Got Talent, he will definitely find a way to lift spirits around the world any time he wants.
