Robert DeYoung is This Week’s Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

Robert DeYoung might just become your new hero! He's made of that "hero" stuff! You can just hear the smile in his voice and his actions speak volumes of the caliber of man he is. And little did he know just how much he'd taught his granddaughter, Hailey Skelton.

See, it was Hailey who wrote Robert's nomination letter as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, and she makes it easy for all to see, just what she sees in her grandfather. Just look at the letter we received.

I would like to nominate Robert as this weeks caught in the act. He would give the shirt of his back for anyone in need. Hes taught me to give and not expect anything in return. When he sees military personnel in uniform at a restaurant you can bet he will pay for their meal. He sees a homeless person on the side of the road, he will be helping them in some way, he tells me You never know if thats one of Gods angles testing you. Robert has helped me in so many ways, I want to let him know how much he is truly appreciated. He is a Son, Father, Husband and last but not least my Pawpaw. So blessed for him to be in my life. I cant give him all the credit though. He wouldn't be the man he is today with out his wonderful wife, Ms. Gloria. They are both retired but have never stop working. Helping with car shows, to Blanchard's small town Christmas and much more. I love You pawpaw, you deserve this.

Robert DeYoung, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
