This recipe only take 15 minutes to throw together and then you set that crock pot on low for 7 hours to make magic. This is the perfect recipe if you are a fan of having more cobbler than fruit underneath a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream. Try it out and let me know what you think!

  • 8 apples , peeled and sliced
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup Bisquick
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 13 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter

 

Toss the apples in a large bowl with the cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Place in lightly greased crockpot.

Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and the 1/2 cup Bisquik. Spoon over apples.
Combine 1 cup Bisquick and brown sugar. Cut the cold butter into mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the apple mixture.
Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours.
