The LSU Athletic Department has announced that quarterback Anthony Jennings is leaving the school.

It was announced on Thursday that Jennings plans to graduate from LSU over the summer, then transfer to a school of his choice. According to NCAA rules, as a graduate student with remaining eligibility, he will be able to play this fall.

Jennings was the LSU starter for most of the 2014 season. He lost the starting job to Brandon Harris last fall and was the number two signal caller for the 2015 season.

Jennings started 13 games during his time at the school. His record as the Tigers starter was 9-4.
