Prepare Yourself for the First Annual Street Steak Cook Off

Do you cook a mean steak? How about you put your steak up for battle against other grill masters in the area. Minden Main Street will be hosting the very first Annual Street Steak Cook Off will be happening on Friday, September 7th. It will start at 5 pm to 9 pm.

According to their event page on Facebook, "Minden Main Street is looking for the best steak grillers in our area!"

There is a fee to enter the contest which is $75 per teams that consist of two members. There payout is over $2,600 with 1st place winning $1,000.

They also mention that "this is not a sanctioned event but more for our local cooks and community."

If you don't plan on entering the contest there are still ways you can enjoy the contest. There will be a vendor selling streak dinners.
