Is America's team the least liked NFL team in America? That seems to be the case, according to a new poll out by Public Policy Polling.

The poll, which is in its third year, asked a myriad of questions about the NFL and the general opinion of the league and teams.

Some results of note:

When asked if the Dallas Cowboys were America's team, only 23 percent of respondents said they do believe the Cowboys are America's team while 60 percent thought otherwise and 17 percent weren't sure.

In a list with teams like the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys were towards the top as both favorite and least favorite team on the list. The Saints were also on the list but garnered little reaction on either end of the scale.

Saints QB Drew Brees' popularity was also gauged. The poll results showed 50 percent of respondents had a favorable opinion of him, 10 percent did not and 40 percent were not sure.

The poll did notice a fairly strong bandwagon effect since the polling started a few years ago. Back then, when the Packers had an undefeated season, Green Bay was a strong favorite team. Support has faded since then.
