Poker Run to Benefit 8 Month Old Amelia Hope Thomas

Amelia Hope Thomas is the 8 month old daughter of Mich and Brook Thomas and suffers from a disease called "Hurlers". As you can tell from her picture, she's beautiful and in hopes of helping her beat this disease, she'll undergo a bone marrow transplant at Amplatz Children's Hospital within the next 30 days.  

To help offset some of these expenses, friends of her family are hosting a Poker Run this Saturday, June 2 starting at 10:30am at Grumpy's/Cash Magic on La. Highway 1 in Vivian. It's only $20 per rider and all proceeds will go to Amelia.  The Poker Run ends at J.R.'s Saloon where fish dinners will be sold.  For more info or to register, call Lisa at 318-422-4844
