Hollywood South continues to provide jobs to Ark-La-Tex residents through a current construction project in South Bossier. If you've driven past the CenturyLink Center lately you've probably noticed a large, quite interesting structure being erected. That is the White House. Well, kind of.

South Bossier Movie Construction Update

The upcoming Millennium Films' production "White House Taken" is already pumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into the local economy, area businesses and film officials say. The action thriller starring Gerard Butler is set to be filmed at multiple Shreveport and Bossier City locations this summer, one of which will feature a partial façade of the White House. Construction of the replica structure — an estimated 55 feet tall and 20 feet wide — started last month on Bossier City property adjacent to the CenturyLink Center, putting local carpenters, painters and contractors to work, Bossier City film liaison Pam Glorioso said.
