Despite taking precautions and administering vaccinations, Pet Savers Shreveport needs your help with vet bills due to a deadly outbreak of Parvo in their shelter.

According to Jane Ott, area vets have been able to save the three dogs affected so far, but it's severely depleted the shelter's funds. Clearly, this is a huge expense and Pet Savers Shreveport is doing their best to help their charges, but they need money to do so. While they don't generally conduct special fundraising, these are extenuating circumstances.

A special GoFundMe account has been set up to help raise the needed funds. We hope you'll help if you're able. Pet Savers Shreveport is a no kill shelter and donations are tax deductible.

Pet Savers is located at 4380 Noyes Drive, Shreveport, LA 71119 and are open daily from 12pm - 4pm. You can call them at (318) 636-0400 or reach them on Facebook with any questions! Even if you aren't able to adopt an animal or donate at this time, Pet Savers is always in need of volunteers so please consider supporting their efforts!
