Pam Stevens is This Week’s Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

Even while she's battling breast cancer, Pam Stevens takes the time to put others before herself. And not only does she sweep aside her own wants and needs, she's allowed this stumbling block to give her another platform to help others battling this vicious disease and to be there for those who need a support group during this troubling time. That's about as close to angelic as you'll see on earth, and certainly worthy of this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

We learned about this Super Woman from her own cousin, Jessica, who thankfully, wasn't too bashful to tell us about this lady who God placed right here among us!

When I think of my cousin Pam, many adjectives comes to mind! To know her is to love her. She is funny, loving, compassionate, beautiful, selfless, and so on. You see, Pam has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, but she refuses to let that get her down. Instead, she uses her situation as a motivation for herself and others. Pam is the mother hen who constantly puts others before herself. Her husband, children, grandchildren, friends, family, and coworkers will all say the same! You need a listening ear? She has it. I work with Pam as well, so I see this in action constantly. Hard headed? You bet, but only in a good way. If there is an inkling of a way that she can brighten the day, she's on it.
Pam is also committed to using cancer as a way to encourage others... She is not doubting that she will beat it, she is determined to. She encourages her fellow sisters who are battling breast cancer in a support group daily. They lean on each other. Now, you want to talk about Mother Hen? Through it all, she puts herself last. Having a bad day? She's the listening ear to talk to then she will just say, let's see how to make it better. I guarantee you, she would give all she had plus some just to see anybody smile! I cannot think of a more deserving person for this award than her. She has such a beautiful soul and she deserves to be recognized.

Pam Stevens, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
