    Taco Wars

Who says you have to limit celebrating Cinco de Mayo to the 5th of May? Get started on the 4th, yep, this Friday from 6-9pm at 1 University Place. The event is all a part of the Louisiana Food Prize with the winning vendor receiving $1,000! Here's how it works... attendees will get to taste tacos and salsa from a variety of Latin restaurants and food vendors from across northwest Louisiana. Each attendee will get a Taco Token to vote on their favorite salsa and may buy tacos individually from each vendor using Taco Tickets! Admission is free for this fun event in conjunction with the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission's Soccer Exhibition Games at LSUS. UPDATE: This event has been moved indoors because of the possibility of rain in the forecast.
