One Lane of Jimmie Davis Bridge Closed For Inspection Today

If you normally travel the Jimmie Davis Bridge from South Bossier into South Shreveport or vice versa, you'll want to make sure you make the move before 9:00 this morning.  

The Louisiana DOTD will be shutting down one lane of the bridge for inspection today from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

This inspection is routine and vehicles 10 feet or smaller will still be able to pass through the inspection zone. Larger vehicles will be detoured using U.S. 71 North to LA 3032 West to LA 1 South.
