Never before have we had an entire organization recognized as recipients of the Caught in the Act Award, but never before have we had the Northwest Louisiana Law Enforcement Wives United be nominated.  Never before today.

In a letter from the organization's founder, Kristen Kennedy, she tells us of those women who make all the worthwhile projects of this organization possible.

I have 4 ladies I would like to nominate for the Caught in the Act Award. My name is Kristen Kennedy. I started Northwest Louisiana Law Enforcement Wives United in 2015 and these 4 ladies have been my right had in making it all happen. Through fundraisers, benefits, festivals, dinners and with National Police Week approaching, I want these ladies to know just how important they are not just to me,but to the other law enforcement wives in NWLA and to the LEOs. We have events coming up, such as our First Annual Foot Patrol 5K, that will take endless volunteer hours. I know that I will be able to count on these 4 ladies! On May 18th we have our National Police Week Couples Dinner. We have put countless hours into this as well, making sure it is perfect for everyone else...now I want to make something perfect for them. Our ultimate goal is to give an annual scholarship to a senior student of an active or r etired LEO in NWLA...without these ladies, that will be next to impossible. Thank you so much for your consideration. Their names are Christina Fox (Vice President), Erin McDonnell (Secretary), Alleigha Procell (Public Relations), and Jaime Tipton (Treasurer). Again, thank you so much for your consideration and I hope you can help me honor these ladies for their hard work and dedication to Northwest Louisiana Law Enforcement Wives United!

Talk about a "no brainer."  With National Police Week coming next week, it's our honor to recognize these women with the Caught in the Act Award, for not only their efforts, but for their own personal sacrifices.

Ladies, thank you for making this the best place in America to call home!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Christina Fox of the organization, to let her know that they were this week's Caught In The Act Award recipients.
