North Louisiana Wounded Soldier Benefit Rodeos Scheduled For May

The North Louisiana Wounded Soldier Benefit is holding  4 different fundraiser rodeos and events throughout May, all to be held at the Cowboy Church Riding Arena in Greenwood, LA.  

Last year the event raised over $23,000 and they are hoping to increase that number this year!  Funds raised will help to provide monetary support to the Louisiana Veterans Foundation and Wounded Veterans of our area.

KIDS RODEO - MAY 9 at 11:00 AM

Barrels, Poles, Straight-Away Barrels, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping and 2 different age groups of Team Roping.  Buckle to winner of each age group per event.  One All-Around Buckle.

TEAM ROPING - MAY 23 at 9:00 AM

$100 Entry Fee and you may enter twice.  $1,000 added prize money for this one.

RANCH RODEO - MAY 23 at 7:00 PM

Admission for spectators is $10

RANCH SORTING - MAY 24 at 11:00 AM

Shoot-Out is $100 per man.  Limited to first 30 teams.  Classes: Open, Draw, Novice, Mixed - $20/entry with $800 added.
