Nonprofit Searching For Volunteers to Help Children Read

The nonprofit organization, Step Forward Literacy Program, needs volunteers.

They are expanding their program to five more schools this school year. In total they will be helping children at 30 different schools in Bossier, Caddo, Desoto and now Webster Parish!

I am trying so hard not to make a Zoolander reference, but you know we are all thinking it. All joking aside, this nonprofit organization is striving to make a difference in our community and they need our help.

Requirements for volunteers:

• 18 years old or older
• background check
• available for at least one hour a week
