New Movie Opening Today: “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”

There’s only one new movie opening this weekend. Reviews for the sequel to “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” have ranged from the best sequel ever to don’t waste your money. In the end it’s up to you whether to spend the $9+ to see the movie.

The same virus that increased simian intelligence in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" also devastated the human population. Ten years later, the survivors want to live in peace with the apes. However, Gary Oldman leads the humans in the ruins of San Francisco, and wants to kill all the apes as payback for losing his family to the virus.
