A never before released Johnny Cash album will be in stores March 25th, 2014. "Out Among The Stars" is a completed album that was never released by his record company. It was recorded during sessions in 1981 and 1984. The album features two duets with his wife, June Carter Cash and one with Waylon Jennings. There are also two songs that Johnny wrote: "Call Your Mother" and "I Came to Believe". Fortunately, Johnny saved the tapes from recording sessions in 1981 and 1984 which his son John Carter Cash found last year.

An interesting side note is that it also featured a young Marty Stuart on guitar. The new producers decided to "fortify" the original tapes so they brought Marty back, plus some studio musicians and June's daughter Carlene Carter. According to the producers, no other changes were made to the record, so it'll be like getting a brand new Johnny Cash album 10 years after his death.
