The polls in New Hampshire closed at 8:00 pm Eastern time, and according to the major news networks, by 8:10 it was all over. The winners: For the Republicans, Donald Trump. And on the Democrats' side, Bernie Sanders.

In the Granite State primary, the billionaire businessman took an early lead, topping his GOP rivals with 35% of the vote. 23 delegates are up for grabs..

For the Dems, Sanders, the socialist Senator from nearby Vermont, was given the win after opening up a 15% lead over Hillary Clinton. There are 24 Democrat delegates to be divvied between the two.
