Wednesday's NASCAR Driver of the Day was Tony Stewart!  Maybe the most outspoken driver on the circuit, Tony is now a driver and owner.

Tony has, in my opinion, the best nickname in racing..."Smoke" as he's known is not his only nickname.  He's also been called "the Columbus Comet" and "the Rushville Rocket."

Tony grew up racing, starting with go-carts, he won the World Karting Association Championship when he was just 16.  He's been winning at every level since, having won races on the Indy circuit, midget, sprint, truck, Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series.

Tony is a three-time Nascar Cup Series Champion, including his 2011 Championship,  and was 1999 Nascar Rookie of the Year.

Tony has become famous for his, dare I say... abrasive attitude?  He'll insult drivers and reporters just the same.  Often, his interviews are must-see TV for race fans.  Check out some of his moments below.

Tony and Kurt Busch are.... NOT friends!

Tony took Darrel Waltrip for a wild ride at Eldora Speedway, you gotta hear Darrel losing his cool!
