Meet Rene’ Loyd of Shreveport – This Week’s Caught in The Act Award Recipient

If you attended school or church in the North Shreveport area anytime in the last 30 years, you know and love Rene' Loyd!

But it's her love for YOU that's made her this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient!

Tirelessly giving of her time to her students at school and church, Rene' has had a positive impact on more kids than she'll ever realize.

And apparently her own husband, Chris, has watched with admiration for years as it was him who nominated Rene' as this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient!

Mrs. Loyd has worked as a teacher for close to thirty years. She has sponsored cheerleaders, student council, and many trips to Washington D.C.and other places. Everywhere she goes, current and former students run to give Mrs. Loyd a hug and catch up. She has taught Sunday school for high school students for years and has joined the kids on many mission trips. She works tirelessly to ensure her students receive the best and she is always participating in the kids after school activities. She is the example of living life always thinking of others. Yes, I know this because I have been blessed to be by her side for 33 years. She is the BOMB!!!

Rene' Loyd, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!
