In our opinion, Chef Pat Dillahunty probably couldn't carry his heart in an 18 wheeler. It's just too big.  The things he does for the homeless of Shreveport/Bossier City each week are amazing at the very least.  And he didn't know that he was being watched....and by his own step daughter, no less.

Ashley Rohrer thought enough of her step dad and his actions, she wanted the world to know that Pat had been "Caught in the Act" of doing good!

Here's what Ashley had to say about Pat when she nominated him for this week's Caught in the Act Award.

Pat Dillahunty is my step father and for years he has helped others going above and beyond what most would even consider! Not only would he give some one the shirt off his back he would give his last dollar if you needed it. He is not the most wealthy man but finds the money to cook and prepare a meal for the homeless every Wednesday in Down town Shreveport. No matter the weather rain sleet or snow he is there to feed them every Wednesday. He does so much for others I think he is more then deserving of this reward!!!

Chef Pat, it's guys like you that make this an awesome place to live!  Thank you!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to let Pat to inform him that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient below.
