Meet Monica Moore – Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

Michelle Bond is a lucky woman. Not only is her Mom, Monica Moore, an incredible woman, but Michelle is blessed that she can call her Mom, her "best friend."

And when you see all that Monica does on a daily/weekly basis to give back to our community, it's easy to understand why her own daughter would nominate her for this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

My mom, Monica Moore, deserves to be recognized. My dad passed away 3 years ago and it hasn?t been easy but my mom has continued to put the Lord first and take one day at a time. She is someone who loves to give without something in return. I have seen her swipe her card in a grocery store when that person didn?t have enough money, She has paid for meals in restaurants without letting the people know, she has helped families have a Christmas, she cooks dinner every Wednesday night at our church for the young kids because some of them might not get a meal that night, i could go on and on about what she has done for people but we would be here all day:) She says the Lord has blessed her more than she deserves and she is supposed to bless others. She believes that blessing others is way more rewarding. She is a true giver. She spends her time with her family, her church family, and work. She is not just my mom, but a best friend.

Monica Moore, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
