Meet Michael Powell – This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient

Michael Powell is the type of person that we all hope our kids will grow up to be.  Kind to a fault.  A great husband and Dad and one of those people who puts into practice the creed "See the need.  Fill the need."

And that's why he's this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient.

Nominated by Kylie Hughes, here's what she had to say about Michael.

We first met Michael when he helped us find our first home. Since then we have gotten to see what a great guy he is. For the last couple of years, he has been collecting toys for families in need with he's organization Roy's Kids. He takes time to meet these families and get to know what the kids would like. He also gathers up book bags and fills them up with supplies to give to families in need. Many times we hear of him going beyond to provide for a family in need at anytime. We even watched as he fought for a poor dog who was dying of starvation. He gives to the homeless. He is not only a great guy but is a great example for his children.

 

Michael Powell, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!
