Meet Gayla Newton – This Week’s Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

Gayla Newton cares!  She's the type of person we'd all like to be when we grow up and she's this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient!

When we say Gayla "cares," that's really an understatement.  She's one of those people that make you feel like a better person just for knowing her.

Just read the nomination letter we received from Misty Alsup-Wood and you'll understand why Gayla was a shoe in for this week's award.

Gayla is amazing. She is always going out of her way to help others. She is an administrator of the group B.A. Blessing. This is a facebook group that helps people in need of anything from baby food to furniture, a ride to the doctor, and everything in between. She has spent many many sleepless nights with people at the hospital, sorting clothes people have donated, delivering clothes or whatever is needed (at her expense) all over the state, delivering meals on the weekends, feeding the homeless, finding clothes for people living under bridges, and the list goes on and on. Her garage usually stays so full it overflows and she will actually have a garage free for all. From digging into her own pocket to help others to spending time away from her own sons and husband, I believe she is a perfect candidate for this award. She has a true heart of gold and would put herself out so th at someone else might prosper. She has been an angel and saving grace to so many. They know all they have to do is call, text, or message her and she will come through. God bless you Gayla!
