Meet Amanda Sexton – This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient [VIDEO]

Every week we're blessed to see literally hundreds of letters telling us how great the people are in Kiss Country. We get countless entries for our weekly "Caught in the Act Award" with stories of men, women and children who truly make this an incredible place to live.  The selection process has gotten harder and harder every week because so many are doing so many amazing things.  And that's why this week's selection is so special.  Nominated by Stephanie Haley, Amanda Sexton's story just had to be told.

Here's what that Stephanie wrote about Amanda as she nominated her for this week's Caught in the Act Award.

Amanda is one of the most selfless, thoughtful friends I have come to know over the last couple years. She has several physical ailments she deals with daily all while raising a new baby and 6 year old and being the wife she is to make sure her family is taken care of. She once tried to give me gas money because I drove an hour to come hang out with her! She noticed her friend was going thru a hard time and sent her a pair of shoes in the mail she knew she wanted. I could go on and on about how she gives and does for others instead of herself but recently she took 2 kids out of a bad situation and opened her home to them because she felt it was the right thing to do. She didn't do it for praise or acknowledgment she did it because that's how her angelic heart works & I would love nothing more than for her to get noticed unexpectedly because she is just as grateful as she is giving . Thank you.
