Shreveport Police have arrested a Texas man suspected of forcing his way into a west Shreveport home without the owners permission.

Just before 9am Monday, Shreveport Police got a 911 call from a home on Huston Street. The woman told dispatchers a man forced his way into the home where she worked as a sitter. She was able to get out, but the person she cared for was still inside.

The victims were not hurt. Neither of them knew the suspect.

42-year-old Christopher Murphy of Arlington, Texas, faces charges of  unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
