The LSU baseball team won their first true road test on Tuesday beating Southern in 10 innings 4-2. Thursday, LSU will travel to Arkansas for their first road SEC series.

LSU gave up a run in the bottom of the ninth against the Jaguars to allow the game to go into extras.  The Tigers wasted no time scoring two runs in the top of the 10th en route to at 4-2 victory.

LSU won against #8 Houston in Houston earlier this year, but that game was played at Minute Maid Park as part of the Houston College Classic and not at the Cougars home park.

Tuesday's game against Southern was in Baton Rouge.  So, some may say that Thursday night's matchup at Arkansas is the first real road test for the Tigers.

This SEC series will be played Thursday through Saturday. Game One's first pitch is at 7pm. You'll be able to hear Game Two on Friday night on 1130 the Tiger.

Games One and Three conflict with LSU Men's and Women's Basketball in the NCAA Tournament.
