A benefit charbroil is being held tomorrow to help a local firefighter.

Bobby Robinson served as a Shreveport firefighter for 39 years and after retiring he joined the DeSoto EMS team where he has served for 6 years. Chief Bob was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor last year and the community is coming out to help him.

They will be serving breakfast plates from 7-10am and lunch plates from 10am-3pm. Breakfast costs just $5. Lunch plates are $7. This event is being held at the DeSoto District 3 Central Station at 5200 Hwy 3276 Stonewall,.

All proceeds raised will be used to help defray Chief Bob's medical expenses.

There is also a raffle and you could win some great prizes. There's a Yeti Cooler up for grabs and a Yeti Hooper.
