As the father of 3 boys, I totally sympathize with other "boy parents." Seems like you never just have your own sons. You've always got an entire tribe of boys. Your sons. Their friends. Their friends friends. It just gets crazy. But then, every now and then, one of those boys becomes very special to you.

But, are they special enough to just allow them to move in? For 8 years? Well, that's the story of this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act recipient. Turns out that Lisa Grafton not only has heart of gold for her own son, but she showed the same love and compassion for his best friend, Dillon Molina.

In the Caught in the Act nomination letter we received from Dillon, it was easy to see just how much Lisa truly loves this young man, it was easy to spot that love was reciprocated. He truly considers Lisa his own Mom. And, she was there just when he needed someone most!

Just read Dillon's letter:

Where do I begin? Lisa is my best friends mother and Id call her my own mother as well. She is the most selfless and caring woman I've ever met. I've known her since 2nd grade and I'm not 8 years out of high school. I grew up in a very poor family but she never saw me like that. When my parents got divorced my sophomore year in high school my dad and I didn't get along and he told me to leave one day. I told my best friend about it and asked if I could stay the night with him. When he asked Lisa she said of course and said I should move in and she took care of me for the next 8 years. She knew I never had anything new and would never ask so she would make me pick stuff out. New shoes new school clothes. I was amazed of the level of caring she had. And during all of this she was a school teacher at our school and also a cheer mom going to many events and even paid for my first prom, my graduation, and probably would've paid for college if I asked. Now she has left teaching at our school and is working with special needs kids and loving every minutes of it. This doesn't even scrape the surface of all of the people shes helped. Ive never seen her say no to anyone who has needed help. I wouldn't be where I am today with her and I don't know any other way to show my appreciation than to nominate her for caught in the act award.

Lisa Grafton, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse and Silver Star Grille have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Lisa to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
